Contributed papers are welcome in all scientific fields of the "temporal design" (please see "Objective of Piblication" from above menu). The special sessions listed below will be organized:
  • Blending of music performances with the sound fields in a concert hall and an opera house (MCHA);
  • Blending of human lives with the natural environment through the hillside residence planning; together with creative work space (CWS) both in the office and the house (SOHO) to encourage individual creations;
  • Complex system science for the urban planning and social environment, adapting to human and environment.
  • Brain activities corresponding to subjective response through auditory, visual, and taste senses.

The 26th Kirishima International Music Festival will be held from 24 July (Concert at Kirishima Jinguu Shrine) to 9 August (Final concert) 2005.

Deadlines

  • 30 January 2005: abstract of papers including invited should be addressed to Dr. Yoshiharu Soeta
  • 31 May 2005: 4 pages of paper for publication of Proceedings should be addressed to
    Dr. Yoshiharu Soeta
  • 24 July 2005: manuscript of full papers submitting to JTD should be given at the registration desk of the symposium.

JTD Special issue on the symposium will be scheduled in the beginning of 2006 after review process with two referees .

[Accommodation]

A block of guest rooms at discounted rates has been reserved for symposium participants at the Kirishima Royal Hotel (from 23 July to 28 July). The Kirishima Royal Hotel is located in the natural and southern area of Japan, about 30 minutes drive from the Kagoshima International Airport.

Guest services include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Shuttle bus from the Airport is available in the afternoon on 23 July 2005. The hotel features over 350 guest rooms, an indoor and open air rock hot springs 19-hour access, Tennis Court (free), Parking lot for 420 passengers cars.

[Registration fee]

Registration fees are as follows:

JTD members: 22500 JPY
Nonmebmers: 30000 JPY
Students (with ID): 15000 JPY
Accompaying person: 13000 JPY

Participants are kindly requested to pay in Japanese Yen at the registration desk. We cannot accept a credit card payment.

Nonmenbers who apply for JTD membership at registration desk can pay the registration fee of JTD members (Annual due of membership 6000 JPY + Registration fee 22500 JPY = 28500 JPY).
